Nursing

The mission of the Aaniiih Nakoda College Associate of Science Nursing Program reflects the college’s core values and is congruent with its Mission and goals. The department adheres to the ‘grow our own’ philosophy by helping to empower the student nurse with the attainment of a licensed RN degree. The Aaniiih Nakoda nurse will deliver health care in a holistic and culturally sensitive manner that reflects the community’s “Life Ways”. Aaniiih Nakoda College nurses will have had state-of-the-art education and technological experiences befitting the demands they will encounter practicing in the rural, frontier environment that is their home.
