New Student Check List

New Student Checklist

Below you will find important information as you begin your educational journey at Aaniiih Nakoda College.

Step 1: Forms & Application Fee

Complete your Admissions Application.
Your admission packet will be incomplete if the $10 Admission Application Fee is not attached. The fee is nonrefundable.

Fill out your Declaration of Major form.
In order to qualify for Financial Aid, you must declare a major that you plan to pursue at ANC.

Step 2: Transcripts

Official High School Transcript.
Copies will not be accepted.

Official HiSet/GED Transcript.
Copies will not be accepted.

Step 3: Immunizations

MMR Immunizations.
Only need evidence of 2 doses of MMR.

Tuberculosis Test Results.
Must be within the last 5 years.

Step 4: Additional Transcripts

TABE Placement Test.
You can schedule a TABE Placement Test through the Student Success Center in Nakoda Hall.

Native American Tribal Enrollment.
Students who are enrolled members of a Federally Recognized Tribe must submit proof of enrollment. Skip this part if you are not a member of a Federally Recognized Tribe.

Official College Transcript.
If you have attended another college you must request an official transcript to be sent to our office to complete your admission requirements.

Step 5: Financial Aid

FAFSA
You must complete the free online FAFSA application at www.fafsa.ed.gov. See the Financial Aid Office to complete your application.
